Does it require regular maintenance?
Yes, regular maintenance is essential to ensure optimal performance and water quality. This includes periodic cleaning of the storage tank and timely filter replacements. The 1st and 2nd stage cartridges typically need replacement every 6 months, while the 3rd and 4th stage cartridges last up to 12 months on average.
What is the Ultrafiltration system included with the unit?
Ultrafiltration (UF) is a membrane-based filtration system with pores as small as 0.01 microns. It effectively removes solid particulates such as lead, copper, pharmaceuticals, bacteria, and viruses.
Unlike reverse osmosis, UF systems do not produce wastewater and work efficiently even under low water pressure, ensuring a simple and easy setup. However, it is important to note that ultrafiltration does not remove hardness minerals like calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg).
How quickly does the cooler dispense chilled water?
The unit dispenses chilled water almost instantly once set up. The water temperature ranges from 4°C to 12°C, and the stainless steel tank has a capacity of approximately 3.2L.
Will the water cooler increase my electricity bill?
The energy consumption is low, and EPS coolers are designed with cost-effective in operation LG compressor.
